Features

Everything Stashery does, and why it does it that way.

Grouped the same way as the guides. Each one shows the screen, what it's for, and the reason behind it — most of them were learnt the hard way with a real seller.

Getting started

Free

Connect eBay

Link the eBay account you sell from. Settings then shows who you're connected as and a five-point checklist of what eBay needs before Stashery can publish.

The Catalogue's Listed tab after importing live eBay listings

Free

Import your eBay listings

Bring every live eBay listing in as an item, with its photo and price. Run it again any time; nothing is duplicated and your edits are kept.

Free

Spreadsheet import

Bring in the list you already keep in Excel or Google Sheets. Match the columns, check every row, and nothing is saved until you press Import.

Free

First-run checklist

A new, empty stash opens on three steps instead of a page of zeros. Connect eBay, add your first item, and get ready to sell when you want to.

Your items

Getting a loco from a box in the loft to a record you can price, list and find again.

A scan result identifying an LNER A3 Flying Scotsman from photos

Free

Photo identification

Photograph an item from a few angles and Stashery fills in the title, maker, part number, gauge, era and condition, and says which details it checked against the catalogue.

Free

Where each detail came from

Every detail on an item says whether a scan, the catalogue, an import or you set it, and Stashery tells you when you already own one before you save.

An item page showing its stash number and the Print label button

Free

Stash numbers and item labels

Every item gets a code like RCO-0091 and a printable label with a QR code, sized for your printer.

Free

Label scanner

In the Stashery app on your phone or tablet, tap Scan, point the camera at the QR code on a label, and that item opens.

Free

DCC details and documents

Record a locomotive's decoder, socket, DCC address, sound project and CV notes, and keep its manual, receipt or CV sheet with the item.

A job lot page: its source, total cost, purchase date and the AI lot breakdown

Free

Job lots

Photograph a bundle, get an editable list of what's in it, decide what becomes an item, and split the price evenly or by value.

Freev0.8.0

Lot codes and combined items

Each job lot gets its own code like JL-0001, and items you sell together become one combined item with its own code and listing.

Pricing

What the same model actually sold for, and what to list it at.

Sold-price comps for a Flying Scotsman: the suggested price, the range and recent sales

Hobby

Sold-price comps

Press Get sold prices once and see what the same model really sold for on eBay, the typical price, and which sales were left out and why.

Hobby

Repricing

Every live listing grouped by how its price compares with the market rate, with your margin at both prices and a price change sent to eBay from the same row.

Hobby

Good buy? checker

Paste an eBay listing before you bid and get Good buy, Marginal or Poor buy, worked out from what the same model has actually sold for.

Selling

From Ready to List to a live eBay listing, and keeping the two in step.

The Listing Composer with the title, description and the selected photos

Hobby

Listing Composer

Title, photos, condition, item specifics, price, policies, parcel size and weight on one screen, with the postage the buyer will pay shown before you publish.

Hobby

Parcel size and weight

Publishing tells eBay the real size and weight of the parcel, so the postage label eBay offers when it sells is one the Post Office will accept.

Free

Relist recognition

When you relist on eBay, the next sync keeps the new listing on the same item. If a relist ever became a second item, you can merge it back.

Pro

Listing video

Add a clip of up to 59 seconds from any phone. Stashery converts it to eBay's format and sends it with the listing.

Live Listings kept in step with eBay: price, watchers and time left

Free

eBay sync

Stashery brings your listings up to date with eBay when you open it, if it's been more than 15 minutes, and whenever you press Sync eBay.

Money

What you actually made, by month and by UK tax year.

A sale outcome showing sale price, eBay fees, postage and net

Free

Sale outcome

When something sells, the price and eBay's fees come in from eBay. You add what the parcel cost, and the net is right.

Freev0.8.0

Returns and refunds

A Returning column on the Workshop board, two questions when it's settled, and a dashboard that's net of what you refunded.

Hobby

Profit and loss

Your profit by calendar month or UK tax year, with eBay fees, purchase prices and parts already taken off.

Workshop

The Workshop board with locomotives in In Test, Repair, Photography and Ready to List

Free

Workshop board

Every item you're preparing, in columns from In Test through Repair and Photography to Ready to List, then on to draft, live and posted.

Free

Repairs and the parts bin

Keep spare parts in a bin, earmark them to a repair, and the cost of what you fit comes off that item's profit.

Hobby

Hornby service sheets

Stashery matches a Hornby model to the catalogue and links its service sheets, right on the repair card.

Collecting

Free

Your collection

What you own, what it's worth from recent eBay sales, the gaps in your range, and a valuation PDF you can send to an insurer.

Free

Wants alerts

Tell Stashery what you're hunting. It checks eBay for new listings that match and emails you the ones worth a look.

Account & apps

Free

Early access

Switch your account to Beta and get the next version a week or two early, on your own stash. One press takes you back to Production.

Free

Passkeys and your devices

Sign in with your fingerprint, face or screen lock instead of a code, and give each iPad, phone and browser a name you'll recognise.

Free

Export and delete your data

Take a full copy of your stash as spreadsheets, emailed to you, on every plan. Delete your account in deliberate steps; your eBay listings stay live.

Free

Report a problem

A button on every page sends a report with a screenshot straight to us. You see its progress, are told when it's fixed, and can try the fix on Beta first.

Free

Android and iOS apps

Stashery on your phone or iPad, with the device's own camera and a label scanner. In testing through TestFlight and a Google Play closed test; not in the stores yet.
